For today's mani, I really wanted to use Adamo 117, a orange jelly packed with glass flecks that flash orange and gold. I plan on trying it on its own at some point, but I wanted to go to bed before midnight last night, so layering was necessary. I slapped on OPI A Good Man-darin is Hard to Find, which is my favorite orange creme, then added one coat of Adamo 117, one coat of Nubar 2010, one coat of 117, two more of 2010, and one final coat of 117. The results? HOT.

As I told my mom, this mani accurately reflects August weather here in Missouri, but I much prefer this gorgeous layering to the heat and humidity. Even as I'm typing this post, I keep stopping to stare at my nails. Pitiful, I know - but they're so pretty! I bet something similar would look great with pink, as well . . . I may have to try that, too. In the meantime, I'll just admire the juicy deliciousness I have on at the moment.
That looks so juicy! I love jellies and I love orange polish, as well, but I never pick it to put on my nails for some reason!
ReplyDeleteThanks! The word "juicy" came to my mind, as well . . . :)
ReplyDeleteMAN I LOVE orange, this is awesome!
ReplyDelete2010 just made it pop
ReplyDeleteThank you! Sometimes I think I don't use orange enough.
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
ReplyDeleteWow, completely stunning and so juicy!
ReplyDeleteThank youuu! I'm going to have to take it off today because I've been using my nails as ytools (bad me, I know) and I've got some tipwear, but I'm honestly not tired of it yet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect summer mani. I'd be staring at my nails all the time too if it was my NOTD!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I always feel a bit silly doing that, but I can't help it. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is very pretty. I love Nubar 2010!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I love 2010 as well...or any flakie for that matter. ;)
