Countdown to 2011

Okay, so I'm officially starting the New Year's/New Year's Eve manis, which means there will be lots of sparkle and shine in the next few days.

As you can tell, I'm still getting the hang of my new camera. My hands are NOT that red. Eurgh. However, the nail polish color is quite accurate! I used two coats of China Glaze Midnight Mission, two coats of NYC White Lights Glitter, and one coat of Wet 'n' Wild Kaleidoscope. Very glitzy! It looks much more glittery and sparkly in real life than it does in my photos...again, still experimenting with the new camera (and who knows how much longer I'll be using that excuse, haha). Aside from being good for NYE, it's a nice winter mani - probably the most seasonal thing I've done since my snowglobe mani, which I'm still in love with. Funnily enough, that one involved Kaleidoscope as well.

Anyway, I'm rambling, which probably means it's time to go. I think I need a nap. :) Hope you're all having a great week!

  2. Ooh, I hope I can find some VVs on clearance! I probably won't, though,
since the next time I'll be near a Sally's will be in January (the nearest
to me is 2 hours away). Oh well...enjoy Emerald Fitzgerald! It is a great
    name. :)

  3. yay! New Years! I almost picked up that same colour at Sally's, the Vintage Vixens collection was on sale for super cheap (less than $3, plus the buy 2 get 1 free promo!) I ended up going with Emerald Fitzgerald, That was a clear favorite of mine from the moment I first saw the collection. Plus I love the name :)
