Ahh, I'm on Fire!

Okay, not really...but my nails kind of look like it. And yes, that was a very cheesy title. Sorry. Moving on! I did my first attempt at sponging today, adding an unnamed Charlotte Russe gold polish to BB Couture Sex on the Beach. I'm not completely happy with the results, but I think it's okay for my first try:

indoors, artificial light

I'm a huge (HUGE) Harry Potter fan, so I suppose this could be a Gryffindor mani...but I'm a Ravenclaw. I feel kind of disloyal. So maybe it's a Millenium trilogy-themed mani:

Yes? Yes, I think so. Anyway, that's almost all I have for you today. Here are some new and new-to-me polish blogs I've discovered and enjoyed recently.

Okay, now that's all! Happy Sunday!

  1. I like this, I tried to do this once but it didn't turn out they way I wanted. I might try using a kitchen sponge so it will (hopefully) give a more textured look.

  2. I really like it! Glitter can be challenging to sponge with depending on its density.

  5. Serena- Thanks! I really wanted to use a kitchen sponge (I used a makeup sponge), but I didn't think my mom would appreciate me cutting up one of her sponges, and I was too lazy to go out and buy some. :)

Freshie- Yeah, I bet! The glitter in this is really fine, which I think helped.

Lacquer Ware for Tips and Toes- Thanks! I was quite happy with it for a first try. :)

Elizabeth aka Lacquered Lizard- Thanks, and you're welcome! I meant to post this list for a long time, and kept forgetting...finally it was so long that I thought I would have to post it before it grew absolutely gigantic! :)
