Inspired by the stormy weather yesterday, I decided to do a lightning bolt manicure. I used Sally Hansen Celeb City for the silver and Kelier blue for the crackle. The blue is a bit darker and more opaque than in the photo; I think my camera picked up on the shine of the silver and decided it didn't care about paying attention to anything else. Funnily enough, the sun is out today and I could've taken better pictures if I'd kept it on, but I put on my next set of Fashionista Nails since it was supposed to be rainy all day again. I should probably learn not to rely on the weathermen.

I really need to learn how to make my cuticle gaps all the same length. Good grief, that is sad. Anyway, that's all for me today...I'm not in a rambly mood today, for once. Until next time!
I love the combo!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty blue crackle.
ReplyDeleteThat's such a pretty blue crackle, love it with the silver underneath :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful contrast. I don't think I've ever heard/read about Kelier.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I really like crackles over metallics.
ReplyDeleteThere are several reviews out there...you can get them at
ReplyDeletebornprettystore.com, and they're pretty cheap.
Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love this mani, the blue and silver go very well together. If you ever find the solution to cuticle gaps, let me know, I need help in that area :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I think the solution is probably practice and cleanup...I've gotten better, but I still have a long way to go.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty mani! I love how the blue looks on silver! As for the weather forecast, I never trust it, they seem to be wrong most of the time XD
ReplyDeleteThank you! I don't usually trust the weather forecast either...and when I do, it usually goes badly. ;)
