Icing Glamourous

Icing Glamourous is one of the four polishes I picked up at Icing a couple weeks ago when they were having a buy one polish, get one 50% off deal. It was glittery, and holographic, and it called my name. The only shame is that I couldn't get all the holographic goodness to show up in the pictures - in real life, it's almost a linear holo, even though it's technically a scattered holo glitter.

outdoors, shade

outdoors, sunlight
indoors, artificial light

I didn't really expect it to be opaque, but fortunately I was (mostly) wrong about that. I used four coats, and while it's not entirely opaque, most of the time it's so darn glittery that I can't tell it's not opaque even when I'm holding my fingers up to my face. Clearly, it doesn't look that good in the pictures. For an indication of how good it looks in real life, imagine the glitteriness of the first picture times five, plus the holo of the last picture times six or seven...and that should about get you there. I'm sorry I couldn't accurately portray this one. I am so not doing it justice. Also, sorry for my pitiful little nubs. I'm trying to grow them out. Slowly. Very, very slowly. :) Happy hump day!

ahhhhhhhhhhh...it's been playing in my head all day!

this color reminds me of ChG fairy dust but more opaque. I Think this would be a great top coat coverage polish too

  3. Haha, thanks for the earworm! ;) I have Fairy Dust as well, and it's pretty
similar...the glitter particles are bigger in Glamourous though, as far as I
can tell. I'm actually thinking about using Glamourous over my current
    manicure, Essence Choose Me.

  11. You should get it! I almost didn't get this one because I didn't think it'd
be opaque, but I'm so glad I took the plunge.
