Nail Fraud Leopard Print

I feel like I'm way too exhausted and distracted to write this post, seeing as it's nearly midnight, I'm still thinking about Cirque du Soleil - YES, I WENT TO SEE CIRQUE DU SOLEIL AND IT WAS AMAZING - and now I'm listening to the Glee soundtrack. Anyway, I'll try. If nothing else, I'll finish and post in the morning. So. Since I knew I would be away this weekend, I thought I'd wear the leopard print Nail Fraud strips I had and see if they wore all weekend. They didn't, though they did last through yesterday and today. This could've been totally my fault, I'm not sure. They were a little stickier and more difficult to apply than the Incoco strips, but not too bad - and they're leopard print! They could have terrible application and I would still love them on my nails. I did notice when cropping my pictures that they were kind of bubbly, but I honestly didn't notice it much on my nails, and I suspect that no one else noticed at all.

I love them! They kind of make me want to attempt my own freehand leopard print, and also make me not want to because I know it will not look nearly this good. At least I still have ten more strips! In other news, I'm in St. Louis, the nearest town to me that has an Ulta (by the way, "nearest" is a relative term - I live 3.5 hours away from St. Louis), and of course I stopped by this afternoon. I had a $25 gift certificate from Christmas - thanks, Mom! - and one of the $3.50 off $10 coupons they send out every month in their sales flyer. I bought Nicole by OPI Yellow It's Me (on sale for $4), Borghese Stellar Notte, Borghese Euro Green (Borghese was BOGO 1/2 off), Sally Hansen LCD, Sally Hansen Spectrum (Sally Hansen was BOGO 1/2 off), and OPI Ink. In total, I paid (not including my gift card) a grand total of $7.39. Not bad, eh? Hey, it's only 11:55! Good night!

  1. I didn't use top coat or base coat, because I was in too much of a hurry to
wait for even Rush or Seche Vite to dry. :) Thanks for the tip about the
shrinking, though! That would look really weird with a pattern. And thanks
for the encouragement...I do plan on trying a freehand leopard
print...sometime...I have way too many things on my nail art to-do list. :)

  2. Dude, I love these!I had them on some weeks ago and they were amazing!Chip-less for 4 days. Then one "nail" came off :p .Which could only mean that my nails wanted another mani, so who was I to say no?
Did you use any TC or BC?I tried using TC and they started looking weird. As in shrinking.Bah!
Also, I'm pretty sure your freehand will look a million times better than this, because it will be a 'Zara original' and each nail will be unique! No offense to nail fraud.
    Happy rest of the weekend!
    xx
